Model-based RSA Workshop at RSA Meeting in Bologna

Prior to the “4th International RSA Meeting: A step into the future” RSAcore hosts a workshop on Model-based RSA. The workshop starts Wednesday morning 9am, May 13th, 2015 at the same location as the conference. Lunch is organized at 1pm after which you can start the conference with a visit to the famous Rizolli library or spend some more time with us regarding Model-based RSA.

The Model-based RSA software is developed to perform RSA analysis using 3D models of implants, avoiding the necessity to have markers attached to the prosthesis. Model-based RSA uses the same principles as described by Göran Selvik in 1983, although the use of models is unique to Model-based RSA. The software has a 3D viewing window that allows viewing and manipulating the models in 3D and enables visualizations of multiple follow-up analyses in one window. This is a great help to view the matched markers and to ‘see’ how the migration actually takes place over time.

During the workshop the basics of conducting RSA studies are discussed; the possibilities of the software are shown and you will use the software to perform some basics RSA analysis.

To register for the workshop, please fill in the registration form prior to April 23rd. Registration fee for the workshop is €125 per participant (ex. VAT).
